I was kindly sent 'Gripeze' in the post last week, which basically makes hair straightener headaches a thing of the past.

How cool is this? It's basically a bright pink sparkly mat (complete in a box and Velcro fastener for easy storage) to place your hair tools when not in use.

I don't know why someone didn't think of this much sooner - it's genius! The heat-resistant, non-slip silicone mat is designed for all hair tools and helps protect surfaces from heat damage up to 250 degrees Celsius.

The really ace thing about Gripeze is that you can roll your hair tools up in them and pack them away in an overnight bag (when you're away) and you don't have to worry about your clothes getting burnt.
